As you already know, I have been to London and I tried to see some of the things on my bucket list. One of these was Neal’s Yard, a very nice little corner not far from Covent Garden.
Walking from Covent Garden you just go straight along James St, cross Long Acre and continue along Neal St. Then you stop at Lola’s Cupcake to eat – exactly! – a cupcake! Then you continue for another hundred meters, turn left on Shorts Gardens, then right on Neal’s Yard. This is a narrow street between two buildings, but there’s a sign and you’ll easily find it.
At the end of this narrow passageway, the courtyard of Neal’s Yard opens up in front of you, with its colorful houses, the tiny trees scattered around the place and its herb shops.
Although it’s small, Neal’s Yard is surely worth a visit, especially if tou happen to be in Covent Garden. You won’t lose time and you’ll see something not many tourists see on their first visit.
Did you already visit it? Or do you plan a visit? Let me know in the comments!
